Memorial Day - Closed Monday, May 28, 2012

On Memorial Day, celebrate the freedoms and honor the men and women whose sacrifices made them possible.  Our office will be closed on Monday, May 28^th so that our staff can spend the Memorial Day weekend with family and friends.  Whether you spend your Memorial Day with others, enjoying a hobby, or just relaxing, please take a moment to reflect on the individual sacrifices made to shape the nation in which we live.

Arizona Legislative Session – 2012

The Second Regular Session of the 50^th Arizona Legislature ended on May 3^rd.   While just short of 1,400 bills were introduced, 363 were signed into law by Governor Jan Brewer, and another 26 were vetoed.  Of those bills introduced, twenty-four bills would have had a direct impact on HOAs.  However, only two of those bills will become law on August 2, 2012.  SB1476 has an impact on new construction and architectural deposits while HB2471 was passed as a technical correction to conflicting laws enacted in 2011 regarding for sale/lease and political signs.
